Anthony Alvarado was recently selected by CBC Coach Brent Wyatt as the baseball Athlete of the Month for March.

Alvarado made five starts for the Hawks, posting an NWAC-leading 1.60 E.R.A.  Through 39.1 innings pitched, Alvarado has a 25-4 strikeout-to-walk ratio.  His three wins pace the team through the first month of play.

Coach Wyatt says "Anthony gives us a chance to win every time he takes the mound.  Our defense likes playing behind him because works quickly, throws strikes, and gets results."
