CBC Head Coach Brent Wyatt recently announced freshman pitcher Hunter French has been named the April Athlete of the Month.

In April, French posted a 5-1 record with a sterling 1.55 ERA.  In 40-plus innings pitched, French has surrendered 36 hits while striking out 27 opponents.

Coach Wyatt says "Hunter gives us a chance to win every time he takes the mound.  His command of the zone has been exceptional, he works quickly, and our defense stays ready to go when he pitches."
