Softball Complex
CBC's softball field, originally constructed in 2004, has had some major upgrades in the past two off-seasons.Â
In 2014, a new "monster" fence was erected to protect the routine fly ball from becoming a de facto homerun, with help from the prevailing wind. Along with the fence, a new press box and sound system raised the fan experience to a new level.
In 2015, the outfield fence was moved back and built to 6' in height to conform with new regulations. The infield surface mix was completely redone, and the backstop was replaced with fan-friendly netting. A whole host of new graphics are displayed throughout the park now as well, with the new padded backstop serving as the most beautiful addition.
An inning-by-inning scoreboard stands beyond the right field fence. The field is also equipped with bleachers, bullpens CBC softball complex is one of the finest in the Northwest offering players all the essential tools to better their game.
The balance of the facility offers batting cages for practice and hitting tunnels to increase the total square footage of the batting facility to 7,000. Indoor work is also possible now thanks to the addition of an indoor hitting facility shared with baseball in central campus.
