Wenatchee Valley defeated CBC 59-34 in the final game of the season for the Hawks. Aaliyah Anderson and Aislin Fiander both had 11 points in the losing effort.

Basin lead early after one quarter by forcing Wenatchee into bad shots by trapping the low post making the Knights uncomfortable. Shots did not seem to fall late in the second quarter for CBC as Wenatchee took a small lead into half time. 

Outside of half, nothing was falling as Basin scored just 4 points in the third quarter and only 8 in the fourth. CBC shot just 1-18 from deep in an unusually poor offensive performance despite forcing 22 turnovers on the night. CBC finishes the season at 5-9 which could be seen as a great effort from a team who went through some roster issues early in the Winter before adding some key pieces late. Their defense was one of the best in the league and their tenacity propelled them to competitive games even in their losses.

Basketball season will resume its normal timing heading into 2022 starting in November.
