After their first loss of the season at North Idaho, CBC came back home to take on a 1-10 Big Bend team. The Hawks took care of business with a 3-0 sweep of the Vikings in straight sets.
Basin was lead by the 14 kills of

CBC had a big first set with 18 kills as a team on their way to a 25-16 win. With the set at 18-14, Basin went on a 7-2 run to finish off the Viks in the set. Again in Set 2, Sagapolu and company built up a strong 18-10 lead before a Big Bend timeout. Outside of a service error late, CBC finished the set off scoring 5 unanswered with two aces from Perez.
Set 3 had the Vikings close early with some miscues on the CBC end helping lead to a 10-10 tie. Once Big Bend put it into the net,
Nicole Parker reeled off a barrage of serves leading to a 11-0 run. Sagapolu and Perez did significant damage in the run combining for 5 kills. When the dust finally settled, CBC emerged with the 25-13 set win.
The sweep moves Basin to 14-1 on the year and 2-1 in East Region play. They will head to Ontario to take on Treasure Valley before coming home to meet Walla Walla and Yakima Valley in a Friday/Saturday twin bill.
