Columbia Basin defeated Treasure Valley at home 11-0. Nine different Hawks scored a goal lead by Ava Suarez and Alejandra Sanchez who each scored 2.

Another big game for the Hawks who crossed double-digits for the second time in a row, this time against a depleted Chukar team who only suited 11. Ava Suarez kicked off the scoring in the 10th minute off a beautiful pass from Hilda Cortes-Muniz. CBC would begin to roll on their way to 7 goals in the period.

The speed and depth of the Hawks continued to prove too much for opponents as they again put the pedal to the metal with 39 shots in the contest. Again, the second unit was just as strong as the first as 6 of the 11 goals were scored off the bench.

With injuries mounting, Treasure Valley was only able to send 9 players to the pitch for the second half. Basin put 4 goals on the board before the game was called in the 70th minute.

The win moves CBC to 5-0 on the year (2-0 in East Region play). They will head to Pendleton on Saturday for their first road test of region play against Blue Mountain with kick-off scheduled for 12pm.
