Columbia Basin extended its impressive season with a commanding 4–1 win over Southwestern Oregon on Wednesday morning in Pasco. The Hawks set the tone early, overwhelming the visitors with relentless pressure and crisp passing that resulted in three first-half goals.
David Ochoa opened the scoring in the 8th minute, confidently burying a penalty kick to give Columbia Basin the early edge. Just ten minutes later, Rudy Silva doubled the lead with a composed finish off a well-placed assist from Alex Martinez. The Hawks continued to surge forward, and in the 25th minute, Bryan Martinez found the back of the net after a slick setup from Jorge Perez, giving the home side a 3–0 advantage heading into halftime.
Southwestern Oregon managed to pull one back early in the second half with a penalty from Teva Mataoa, but Columbia Basin's back line quickly regrouped and regained control. In the 64th minute, Martinez struck again—his second goal of the match—after connecting with Perez and Felix Mendoza to restore the three-goal cushion.
From there, the Hawks closed out the match with poise and composure, maintaining possession and fending off the visiting team's late efforts. Caleb Coronel anchored a disciplined defensive performance, while midfielders Felix Mendoza and Angel Castillo helped dictate the pace throughout the contest.
With the win, Columbia Basin will travel to 2-time defending champ Peninsula with a Final Four birth on the line. Kickoff scheduled for 12pm in Port Angeles.
