Columbia closed out a 100–83 home win over Treasure on Tuesday night with a steady offensive performance and consistent control of the second half.
TheHawks led 50–46 at the break and gradually extended the margin after halftime, scoring 50 points in the final 20 minutes. Columbia shot efficiently inside, repeatedly finishing at the rim and converting in transition, while also moving the ball well against Treasure's half-court defense.
Alex Wells led Columbia Basin's offensive flow, recording multiple assists while also scoring from both the perimeter and the paint. Wells finished with several key baskets during extended second-half runs and was involved in scoring plays throughout the night. Zadkiel Rodarte added steady production, including a pair of fast-break layups and multiple assists, while also converting free throws late. Keano Harwell and Braxton Couch provided interior scoring and rebounding, combining for several paint finishes and second-chance opportunities that kept CBC ahead.
Basin's depth showed in the second half, as players like Levi Pepper, Kaden Bethel, and Neil McCarthy contributed scoring and defensive rebounds. The Hawks capitalized on Treasure turnovers, turning steals into quick points and limiting extended scoring runs by the Chukars.
Over the final two minutes, the Hawks maintained control at the foul line and continued to score inside. Bethel converted a layup at the 1:50 mark to extend the lead to 96–77, and the Hawks followed with another interior basket in the final minute. Basin closed the game with a late putback and a final layup to reach the 100-point mark, securing the home victory.
The win makes it 4 in a row for CBC as they continue to climb the ladder in the East. They will get a big road test against upstart Blue Mountain on the road this Saturday at 2pm.
