Jordan Ochoa begins his first year as an assistant coach with the men's program at Columbia Basin College, reuniting with CBC Head Coach Brian Gochoel for a third time.
A Kennewick High School Graduate and soccer player, Ochoa began his coaching career in 2009 with the Lady Lions' soccer program. Two seasons later, Ochoa was hired as an assistant coach for the Kennewick boy's program, working with current CBC head man Brian Gochoel.
Ochoa served most recently as an assistant at Southridge High School, before coach Gochoel came calling again, this time to join his staff at Columbia Basin College.
"I look forward to the opportunity and challenges of coaching in a competitive college program. Coach Gochoel has been generous with his time and knowledge to help me grow both as a person and as a leader of young men. I want to give back in the same spirit in which he gave to me."
