Jose is entering his first year on the staff. Prior to CBC, he has been with 3 Rivers Soccer Club as the Director of Goalkeepers since 2018. He brings to the club a wide range of experience as a player, coach and trainer throughout multiple levels of play.
As a player, a Washington Youth Soccer championship with 3 Rivers SC and also competed in the ODP program. At the college level, Herrera was an outstanding player for 2 years at CBC before continuing his college career at Seattle Pacific University.
After college, Herrera played a stint with the Victoria Highlanders of the Premier Development League.
Jose's coaching experience includes youth club, high school (Pasco, Richland), college (Walla Walla, CBC) and at the semi-professional level with the Tri-Cities Alliance.
