Lucas Cash

Lucas Cash joined the Columbia Basin College men's soccer program as an assistant coach in August 2019. Since then, Coach Cash has helped transform the Hawks defense into a tough and disciplined unit putting together a 0.50 GAA and eight shutouts in 2019, 0.90 GAA and five shutouts in 2020, and 0.58 GAA and eight shutouts in 2021 in conference play. The defensive production has helped secure East Region conference championships in 2019 and 2021 and a three-year conference record of 25-5-4. 
 
In addition to on-the-field coaching, Coach Cash leads high school recruiting efforts alongside Coach Licona. This effort includes scouting high school prospects through Prep soccer, Club soccer throughout the Pacific Northwest, as well as scheduling visits and helping potential student-athletes tour campus. He also is the liaison for the program for current men's soccer players who are moving on to four-year schools. 
 
In addition to coaching CBC, Cash is the boy's assistant coach at Pasco High School under Head Coach Matt Potter. Over the past six years, Cash has helped Pasco win 100+ games, including numerous league championships, five state tournaments, three final fours, two state finals, and a state championship. He has also helped over 30+ players move on to the collegiate level. 
 
As a player, Cash was a four-year starter at Pasco High School (2007-2010), where he won a state championship and played in four state tournaments and two state championships. He was selected as an all-conference, all-area, and all-state defender. He attended Bushnell University and was a three-year starter competing in the Cascade Collegiate Conference in the Pacific Northwest. 
 
After graduating from Pasco with running start credits from Columbia Basin College, Cash made his was to Bushnell University. He graduated from Bushnell with his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Master of Business Administration in just three years. He currently works in project management, supporting the Hanford Site mission.
