Sergio enters his first season as an assistant at CBC. As a former player, he was a 4-year Varsity letterman who lead Sunnyside High School to 2 regional championships and one league title.
After stepping away from the game for a few years, Licona decided to step into the coaching world. He served 4 as the head coach for the middle school program in Sunnyside and most recently was an assistant at the high school.
In his spare time, he also coaches basketball in the winter and enjoys hanging out with friends and family. He hopes to complete his Bachelor's degree in teaching with aspirations to become a high school English teacher.
