Coach Sokaitis is entering her seventh year as the Head Women’s Basketball coach at Columbia Basin College.
In 2026, CBC was mere minutes away from another Final Four appearance before an untimely injury ultimately forced the Hawks to settle for an Elite 8 placement. Multiple players earned East Region awards including Sadie Tanner's Defensive player of the year award.
Prior to CBC, Sokaitis spent seven seasons at Lebanon Valley College where she lead the Dutchmen to a 91-83 record. During Sokaitis’ tenure LVC made 5 conference tournament appearances, reaching the semi finals in 3 of those years, as well as winning an ECAC Championship in 2015.
As an assistant coach, Sokaitis has stops at both Yale University and Southern Connecticut State University. At Southern Connecticut, she helped the Owls make the NCAA tournament in 2011-12 and make frequent appearances in the national polls. At Yale University, Sokaitis was part of a staff that lead the Bulldogs to their first ever WNIT appearance.
Throughout her career, Sokaitis has recruited 3 Rookie of the Year players and coached 24 All-Conference Honorees.
As a player, Sokaitis played at Western State College (now Western Colorado University) as part of a backcourt that lead the nation in the least number of turnovers throughout the 2006-2007 season.
