Kendra Selle signed on as an assistant coach with the Columbia Basin College women’s soccer program in January, 2017.
The Richland, WA, native played soccer her entire childhood, capping her youth career with an undefeated WIAA 4A State Championship at Richland High School in 1998-1999.
Taking her talents to soccer powerhouse Columbia Basin College, Selle was part of the Hawks' undefeated Northwest Athletic Conference Championship team in 1999. As a sophomore, the Hawks made it to the NWAC Semi-Finals where Selle was selected as a Conference All-Star.
Selle completed her career at Eastern Washington University where she was named to the Big Sky All-Academic Team. Before hanging up her competitive cleats, Coach Selle played one season of Women’s Premier League Soccer with the Spokane Black Widows in 2010.
Kendra Selle holds a United States Soccer Federation 'D' coaching license, and has head coaching experience with River City Soccer Club (now Spokane Sounders) in Spokane, WA. She has also served as an assistant coach with Cheney High School Girls’ Soccer in Cheney, WA.
Selle earned a Master’s Degree in Psychology from EWU and worked there professionally in various Student Services capacities for seven years following her education. She was also the staff advisor and helped form the first ever EWU Women’s soccer club team for the university.
Coach Selle enjoys working with college-aged students and is very excited to give back to her alma mater in addition to having a more formal role in her favorite sport.
Kendra currently resides in Pasco with her husband Jason and daughter Avalon.
