Sandra Olin enters her sixth year overall with the CBC volleyball team.
An Oregon native, Olin's college career began at Mount Hood Community College in Gresham, Oregon.
As a sophomore at Mount Hood, while the Saints were crowned NWAC Champions, Olin was recognized as a member of the All-NWAC volleyball team. Widely recognized for her talents on the court, Olin earned a Division I scholarship in the West Coast Conference to the University of Portland.
After two stellar seasons at Portland, Olin was hired as an assistant coach at Mount Hood. In her six years coaching at Mount Hood, the Saints claimed another NWAC Championship, as well as four top-five finishes at the NWAC tournament.
Since relocating to the Tri-Cities, Olin has coached at Liberty Christian and coaches for Columbia Juniors Volleyball Club during the winter season.
Coach Olin summarized her feelings for the sport by saying, "I love volleyball. Not only because it is a great sport, but because of what it has taught me as an individual. It is my love and dedication to the sport that has driven me to teach what I have learned to those I get the opportunity to coach. Discipline, hard work, and coming together as a team for a common goal are very positive things we can use for a lifetime. I believe anything you work hard for is something worth having."
