Columbia Basin College men's soccer coach Joey Graham recently announced freshman goalkeeper Max Ramos has been recognized as the men's soccer Athlete of the Month for October.
Ramos anchors a resolute defensive unit, posting 38 saves in the month of October. Among those saves were four penalty kicks, sparking the team to key victories as the Hawks locked up a playoff spot in the final week of the regular season.
Coach Graham says "Max has been a joy to coach this season. He's fun to watch because he's incredibly athletic. He's made some unbelievable saves that spark our team at both ends of the pitch."
