CBC men's soccer player Israel Gonzalez has been named a September Athlete of the Month.

Gonzalez has been a force in the attack for the Hawks. He's scored 8 goals on the season and assisted 2. He was recently named NWAC player of the week during the month of September.

The Hawks are currently 7-1 overall and 5-1 in conference.
