Kalameli Matautia has been named an October Athlete of the Month.

"Meli has continued to improve her game from month-to-month – not only as a dynamic attacker but her defensive skill statistics have significantly improved since the season began," said head coach Tim Davison.

"She is an on court leader who always has a smile on her face and quietly leads by example with her positive attitude.  She enjoys playing the game and her extra efforts are now paying big dividends for her and for CBC Hawk Volleyball."
