CBC softball player Marivel Macias has been named a March Athlete of the Month.

"Marivel has a great attitude and sense of team. Every day she shows up and gives her best effort. She stepped up to pitch, while also catching many new pitchers. Additionally, she is one of the leading hitters on the team with a .425 batting average," said head coach Michele Poteet.
