Women's Basketball defeated Yakima Valley on Tuesday by a score of 67-55.
Sami Sanders lead the way with 22 points and 5 rebounds.

Aaliyah Anderson each added 10+ points for CBC in the win. Both teams split the the earlier matchups with each team winning at home so luck was on Basin's side at home.
The Hawks came out with a good first quarter scoring 22 points and holding Yakima to just 15. Anderson scored all 11 of her points in the first half as both teams traded quarters for a 31-30 half time score. Freshman guard Salee Westermeyer went down early in the second quarter with an ankle injury but was able to return after half.
CBC used a big fourth quarter to break away from Yak late for the 12 point victory. The Hawk defense forced 6 turnovers in the period while shooting 42% from the floor. Yakima couldn't get anything to fall in their final push shooting just 3-14 to finish the game. The win creeps Basin closer to 500 at 5-6.Â
With just 4 games to play, CBC will travel to Spokane this Friday the 21st before returning to Spokane the following Friday the 28th.
