This time it was Jaelynn Proctor who belted a 2-run home run. The Hawks would also add 2 more on an error by the Douglas short stop to push the lead to 8-4.

Douglas scratched one across in the 5th off an infield error by CBC. However, Kendra Hart's 3-run home run in the 5th drew CBC to within 1 run of getting the 8-run win. It was Harley Raymond who finally singled in Lowry for the final run of the game and the 13-5 win.

Game 2:

Douglas was able to roar right back in the 4th as the wheels began to fall off for the Hawk pitching staff.

Douglas scored 6 in the 4th on a couple of wild pitches and extra base hits including a 2-run home run. The Royals homered again in the 5th before a sac fly pushed their lead to 11-1.
