Spokane came back to defeat Columbia Basin 3-2 in Pasco.
Zuri Reeser had 18 kills followed closely by
Caydence Taylor with 16.
CBC started hot early holding Spokane to just 6 attack points in the first set as the jumped out early and did not look back taking the set 25-15 in convincing fashion.
The Hawks have struggled at times to navigate in the middle sets as they were unable to hold on to a 23-18 lead as a couple of serves bounced off the net in favor of the Sasquatch tying it up at 1-1. Basin bounced right back with a strong performance in set 3 as it appeared they would cash in with a 2-1 lead.
Spokane picked up steam in the fourth on their way to big set win followed up by a big 5th set to steal away a win from the Hawks who are still down a few players.
CBC will look to end the skid on Wednesday against Walla Walla who fell to the Hawks 3-1 in Walla Walla.
