Zander Kamai contributed 15 points on 6-of-11 shooting with 5 assists, while Levi Pepper posted 18 points and 8 rebounds despite foul trouble that limited his second-half minutes.
Jaron Long was efficient when available, going a perfect 5-of-5 from the field for 10 points before fouling out late.
The Hawks led 81-81 at the end of regulation, but Walla Walla took over in overtime. Columbia Basin cut the deficit to 98-95 on a Wells layup with ten seconds left, but Jake Curtis sealed it with two free throws for the visiting Warriors.
Curtis finished with 29 points and 6 rebounds for Walla Walla. Columbia Basin shot 52.3% from the field compared to Walla Walla's 44.4%, but the Hawks were undone by a 1-of-8 performance from three-point range and allowed 60 bench points off the Walla Walla second unit.
