A poor shooting first half found Basin down as many as 25 in the middle of the first half. Spokane's trapping defense prevented easy looks for the Hawks who were forced to improvise. Kaden Padour and Miguel Hernandez each had 13 off the bench for CBC in the losing effort.

In usual form, Spokane dominated offensively with limited mistakes. Despite the aggressive play on defense by CBC, the Bigfoot put up 50 in the first half on 50% shooting from the floor. Coach Edwards let the second unit to continue to run as their energy outpaced the starters.

CBC did all they could to make it a game in the second half but Spokane was just too much. Edward's club just couldn't seem to find the bottom of the net all night as open looks would not go in. Carson Cloaninger took only 2 shots on the night (8 fewer than his average).

When it was all said and done, Basin shot just 36% from the floor on the night and managed to only convert 5 three-pointers. Spokane seemed to have CBC's number on defense and played a perfect game on that end of the floor.

The loss drops Basin back to 2-10 in league but a rematch against Yakima Valley on Saturday will present a new opportunity to pick up a win.
