The Hawks overwhelmed their opponents across all maps, showcasing their superior teamwork and mechanical skill. Map 1 was supposed to take place on Antarctica Peninsula in the Control game mode. The match began with an administrative ruling enforcing a delay of game penalty against NICC, resulting in a forfeit of the first map. With a 1-0 lead, CBC turned their focus to the next two maps to close out the series. Map 2 took place on King's Row in the Hybrid game mode. Hybrid begins with an Assault capture point and transitions to an Escort objective, where attackers push a payload through two checkpoints. CBC started on the attacking side and immediately established dominance. NICC was unable to secure a single elimination, allowing CBC to push through the map uncontested. Tam "Reel" Magbitang and Lucas "BAAAAABAAAAA" Grenier both finished the attacking phase with a kill to death ratio of 16-0. Switching to defense, CBC continued to control the game. NICC managed to secure a single elimination on Luca "Luca" Cumming but struggled to make meaningful progress afterwards. Despite expending multiple ultimate's, NICC was unable to push past the first checkpoint of the payload phase. An Ultimate (or "ult") is a hero's most powerful ability, designed to be a game-changing moment in a match. CBC secured the map win, putting them up 2-0 in the series. Notable Performances included Tam "Reel" Magbitang with a kill to death ratio of 34-0 and Lucas "BAAAAABAAAAA" Grenier 32-0. Map 3 took place on Dorado in Escort game mode. In Escort, the attacking team pushes a payload through three checkpoints while defenders try to stop them before time runs out. Starting as attackers, CBC efficiently pushed the payload with little resistance from NICC. Skylar "skitsu" Phanekham, Lucas "BAAAAABAAAAA" Grenier, and Tam "Reel" Magbitang led the charge, ensuring another decisive win for the Hawks. Switching to defense, CBC completely shut down NICC's efforts. The opposing team was unable to push beyond their spawn, failing to reach even the first checkpoint. CBC's strong defensive coordination sealed the sweep in dominant fashion. The Columbia Basin Hawks continued their dominant run in the NJCAAE as they took on Laramie County Community College (LCCC) in Week 7. From the start, CBC showcased their skill and coordination, securing a perfect 13-0 victory on Map 1 Split and closing out Map 2 Pearl in a commanding fashion. During map 1 on Split CBC started on defense and immediately set the tone with a strong opening round. The Hawks secured a Flawless round in Round 2, in which all five players on the winning team survive while eliminating all opponents or completing the objective, proving their defensive expertise. A crucial moment came in Round 3 when Marcelo "celete" Lessa secured the final elimination and defused the spike after both teams traded three kills quickly. Angelo "Freakolo" Mallari had a standout play in Round 4, landing the final kill while blinded. By Round 6, it was clear that CBC's defense was impenetrable as they continued to dominate without dropping a single round. By halftime, CBC had a perfect 12-0 lead, needing only one attacking round to secure the map. They did just that in Round 13, completing the 13-0 sweep on Split. Notable Performances included Angelo "Freakolo" Mallari with a KDA (Kills/Deaths/Assists) of 23/7/5, Orlando "Chicken" Barillas 12/9/3, and Danny "Sango" Mercado 11/3/4. On Map 2 Pearl, CBC once again started on defense and wasted no time asserting their dominance. Danny "Sango" Mercado kicked things off with a huge triple kill, securing another Flawless round in Round 1. The Hawks continued their momentum by scoring another flawless in Round 2. LCCC responded with their first-round win of the day in Round 3, showing signs of life. However, CBC quickly regained control, with Declan "DJ.FALLEN" Porter clutching a crucial 1v1 defusal in Round 4. Angelo "Freakolo" Mallari secured a triple kill in Round 6, helping CBC to a flawless and a thrifty round victory. A "Thrifty" occurs when a team triumphs despite having significantly weaker weapons and economy compared to their opponents. By halftime, the Hawks held a strong 9-3 lead. On the attacking side, CBC took control early, winning Rounds 13 and 14 before LCCC managed to defuse the spike in Round 15. In Round 16, Orlando "Chicken" Barillas showcased his skill with a clutch play, outmaneuvering the defender. With match point in Round 17, CBC sealed the series with a dominant victory. The CBC Hawks entered Week 4 with one goal in mind, domination. They certainly delivered. Facing off against Barton Community College and Murray State College, CBC left no room for doubt, securing back-to-back sweeps in commanding fashion. Series One: CBC vs. Barton Community College. In game one, Daniel "Lanix" Lanier wasted no time making his presence known, scoring two goals and recording three saves. Meanwhile, Tyce "Evanchase" Rogers put on a defensive masterclass with five saves. Barton struggled to contain CBC's relentless offense in game two as Thomas "Rolox" Kochenauer exploded for a hat trick (three goals) in a commanding 5-0 Hawks victory. Tyce "Evanchase" Rogers continued to be a brick wall on defense, adding another three saves. By game three, it was the Daniel "Lanix" Lanier and Thomas "Rolox" Kochenauer show, as both players secured hat tricks to sweep Barton. The chemistry between Lanix, Rolox, and Evanchase was on full display as they executed a near-perfect offensive rotation, closing out the series with a clean 3-0 sweep. Series Two: CBC vs. Murray State College. In game one, CBC wasted no time asserting dominance over Murray State, with every player on the Hawks' roster scoring to secure a 3-1 victory. CBC's offense continued to overwhelm Murray State's defense in game two, with Tyce "Evanchase" Roger's netting four goals to lead the Hawks to a 5-1 win. By game three, the Hawks were on fire and sharing the wealth. Daniel "Lanix" Lanier put up another hat trick, Tyce "Evanchase" Rogers scored two goals, and Thomas "Rolox" Kochenauer found the net once to seal a 6-2 victory. With such a dominant performance, CBC walked away with a 3-0 series sweep against MSC, positioning themselves well for regional playoffs.
