Box Score FINAL SCORE: CBC 72 Spokane 58

In their best home performance of the year, CBC bested Spokane 72-58. Sami Sanders score 16 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. Bella Gutierrez and Ali Martineau each had 14 points.
 
Basin shot 58% from the floor in the first period including 2 of 2 from deep. Using a matchup zone, they stifled the Sasquatch attack holding them to just 28 points on the half.
 
Balanced scoring in the second quarter helped push the lead to 10 by half. CBC pounded the ball inside with post ups and backdoor cuts for easy buckets.
 
Spokane knocked down 6 second half three-pointers to cut the lead to 5. However, it was Sanders and Martineau who put the game away in the fourth by combining for 12 of the teams 20 points in the period.
 
The women will get a chance to avenge a close home loss to Yakima this Saturday on the road beginning at 5:30 pm.
