Overwatch 2 faced off against Hutchinson Community College (HutchCC) in week 3, with the Hawks looking to stay undefeated and HutchCC looking for their first win. With an opportunity based on the match, CBC Head Coach, Joel Harvey, had a full starting roster of substitutes for the match, including Lyle "LisanYaomi" Paulino, Daniel "Velcon" Wilson, Quinlan "Ragu" Alexandrou, Dominic "MrCharky", and Ausin "Pillow" Eischens. Map 1 on control, the teams set off to Greece for the map "Ilios." The Hawks appeared to be off to a rocky start on map 1 but were able to secure the first point 100% to 96%. CBC was able to win point 2 and map 1 a bit more connivingly with a percentage of 100% to 41%. Map 2 "King's Row" had the Hawks fired up to make a real showing of dominance, and that is exactly what happened. The Hawks starting off on defense kept HutchCC in their spawn point and gave up no progress on the first point. CBC on their attack was able to capture the necessary progress on the first point on their first team engagement, taking map 2. Branden "Cod" Nix, the second-year returner, came in for Ragu for map 3 of "Circuit Royal." Hutch CC nearly were able to push the cart to the first objective, but CBC held strong on defense. On offense, it was a quick showing for the Hawks as they closed out map 3 with a win and series win 3-0.
