Columbia Basin College Athletic Hall of Fame
Wally Brown was an All-Conference three-sport letterman at Pasco before he took his talents to Boise Junior College in 1953. Brown was named to the All-Conference team in both baseball and football before transferring to the University of Idaho.

Brown lettered in football and baseball at UI, earning All-Conference honors in baseball. Â Brown started coaching football and baseball at Pasco HS soon after that.

Following Dwight Pool to CBC in 1962, Wally continued to coach interior linemen on both sides of the ball, helping guide the 1962 team to the Junior Rose Bowl in Pasadena.

In five years on the CBC football staff, the Hawks rolled to a 40-5 record.   Brown also coached the baseball team for two seasons, leading the Hawks to a 43-17 mark.

Brown left CBC for the University of Montana in 1967, coaching interior linemen and coordinating all recruiting efforts for the football team.
Â
Montana went undefeated in 1969 and 1970, posting 10-0 records in both seasons. Both teams played in the Camelia Bowl in Sacramento, CA. and both teams have been inducted into the University of Montana Hall of Fame.

After several positions away from football, Brown returned to the game he loved, working as the Director of Business Operations for the up-start United States Football League.
